Inaugural STAC Analytics Technology Conference - NY

With the theme: "Big Stakes, Big Analytics," this meeting will take place the morning of June 13 at the Roosevelt Hotel in NY. The STAC Benchmark Council has begun to define standard technology benchmarks for data- and compute-intensive analytic workloads like market- and credit-risk management, where new technology advances promise to shift the tradeoffs between speed, accuracy, insight, and cost. Accordingly, we are holding our first-ever STAC Analytics Technology Conference and luncheon on the morning of June 13 in New York, to discuss technical issues of importance to trading firms dealing with big analytic workloads. Attendance from end-user firms (sell-side, buy-side, exchange/ATS) is unlimited, and those end-user firms that are not already members can attend by becoming Observer Members. Vendor members can send two representatives. Non-member vendors should contact STAC. Due to space constraints, priority will go to individuals whose jobs are directly relevant to this domain.
