Agreement for Observer Membership
(End-User Firms Only)

My firm is an end-user organization (sell-side, buy-side, or marketplace) and wishes to be an Observer Member of the STAC Benchmark Council. Once I receive an email from STAC accepting this agreement, employees of my firm will be entitled to attend certain Council events and access certain Council materials, of which STAC will notify me from time to time.
I authorize STAC to add my firm’s name to listings of STAC Benchmark Council members, provided such listings carry a disclaimer that members do not necessarily endorse any particular specification, product, or statement from STAC.
I understand that neither I nor my firm owes any payment of any kind to receive these membership benefits, that I can cancel this membership at any time by notifying STAC at council@STACresearch.com, and that STAC can change the benefits or cancel my membership at any time.
I further agree that this membership is provided to me on an “as is” basis and that neither party makes any representation or warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Neither party shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential damages or loss of profit or revenue resulting from or arising out this agreement.
If my firm has another agreement with STAC covering membership in the Council, that agreement shall govern.
