NYC Summit on June 13

The next STAC Performance Summit in NYC will take place at 1:30pm on June 13, 2011 at the Barclays Capital at 745 7th Avenue. Thomas Chippas of Barclays Capital will deliver the keynote address at the June 13 STAC Performance Summit in New York. Thomas is Managing Director, Global Head of Quantitative Prime Services, Barclays Capital. He will discuss "Global Market Structure Evolution and its Impact on Technology." In this talk, Thomas will examine key developments in the exchange and dark pool landscape, as well as new and proposed regulations such as 15c35 and MiFID II. He will consider the impact of such changes on trading firms in the US and abroad, with particular focus on the challenges and opportunities confronting trading technologists. The meeting will then explore technical issues of importance to the people who design, develop, and manage trading systems in the US and other countries.
