STAC workshop on MiFID 2 time compliance
Foundational workshop on the regulations, business, and technical aspects of compliance
3 March 2016
Following the popular sessions on MiFID 2 time sync and event reporting at the London STAC Summit last November, STAC has initiated several activities to help firms comply with the new rules--and prove compliance--by the deadline at the end of next year. Firms that have not started already are now shifting into strategy and budget mode.
To jump-start that process, we're holding a workshop in London on May 9 (the day before the next STAC Summit) called Essentials of MiFID 2 Time Compliance. This full-day workshop will methodically cover the regulations, time measurement, synchronising business clocks, wire capture, application timestamping, UTC traceability, sequence numbering, business-process impact, and other topics that are key to planning.
The workshop and associated activities will provide a foundation for individuals who are relatively new to the domain, as well as fill in gaps for those who are familiar but would like a cohesive, structured approach.
