More STAC-N1 results in STAC Vault: MRG, Chelsio, Supermicro o/c IvyBridge
First STAC-N1 results using Red Hat Enterprise MRG Realtime.
19 November 2013 - New York
The STAC Vault contains an increasing range of low-latency networking results. The first STAC-N1 results using Red Hat Enterprise MRG Realtime (v2.3.4) have just been added to the STAC Vault. This system used 10GbE Chelsio T520-LL-CR adapters with WireDirect TCP and WireDirect UDP on Supermicro servers with overclocked Ivy Bridge processors.
These are the latest results from the testing program managed by the STAC Network I/O SIG, with several more stacks to be tested in the near term. The STAC Vault contains many other results on these Supermicro servers, including Mellanox VMA and Mellanox RDMA on RHEL 6.3, RHEL 6.3 with HPN Add-On, and Ubuntu 12.10--not to mention a range of kernel and kernel-bypass results with Solarflare and Mellanox on RHEL 5.8 and 6.3 on IBM servers. Along with performance results and detailed configuration information are the complete SOS report from RHEL-based systems, for those who wish to scrutinize the configurations in minute detail.
