STAC Report: McObject eXtremeDB with Kove XPD L2
Audited STAC-M3 Benchmark of McObject eXtremeDB 5.0 Financial Edition with Kove XPD L2 Storage and Dell R910 servers sets records in 15 of 17 STAC-M3 benchmarks.

STAC has released a STAC Report covering baseline STAC-M3 Benchmarks of the McObject eXtremeDB 5.0 Financial Edition database running with Kove XPD L2 storage on Dell servers with Mellanox InfiniBand. This configuration set records for mean latency (response time) in 15 of the 17 benchmarks in the STAC-M3 Antuco suite.
Originally from the embedded systems world, eXtremeDB is database software capable of incorporating directly into an application by use of C libraries. Kove XPD L2 is a DRAM-based storage system. Details of the stack under test (SUT ID XTR121105) are as follows:
- McObject eXtremeDB 5.0 Financial Edition
- Kove® XPD™ L2 Storage System with Mellanox QDR InfiniBand, dual port
- Dell PowerEdge™ R910 server with Mellanox MT26428 Connect®X-2 QDR InfiniBand, dual port HCA
- Mellanox MTS3600 InfiniScale-IV QDR InfiniBand switch
