Vault report: Kove DRAM-based storage with kdb+ tick data

Unaudited STAC-M3 Benchmark of Kx Systems kdb+ 2.7 with Dell R815 server, Mellanox QDR InfiniBand and Kove XPD2 storage

Kove and Kx Systems have submitted a benchmark report to the STAC Vault. It covers STAC-M3 tests of the kdb+ database when used with a Kove XPD2 DRAM storage architecture. Kove claims that the XPD2 combines the speed of DRAM with the scalability, flexibility, and other benefits of storage. Details of the tests are as follows.
