tbdCorp launches STAC, the Securities Technology Analysis Center

New entity to major in performance measurement. tbdCorp, a business development boutique focused on capital markets technology, has launched the Securities Technology Analysis Center (STAC). STAC focuses exclusively on the evaluation of technology stacks important to the capital markets, placing great emphasis on performance attributes such as latency and throughput. tbdCorp's investment in STAC reflects a belief that there is a growing need for independent, hands-on technical research in this area of technology. That need stems from both an increase in demand for technologies that confer a competitive advantage and an increase in supply that means the number of technologies—and technology combinations—is multiplying faster than end-user firms can research their combined potential. Peter Lankford will serve as the Director of STAC. He will also continue to serve as President of tbdCorp.
